The book Launch ceremony for “The Fire That Does Not Die: The Account of a Woman Alone on the  Hajj Pilgrimage” was held at the House of Poetry and Literature.

According to the public relations department of the Abasabad Cultural and Tourism Area of Tehran (ACTAT), “The Fire That Does Not Die” is an intimate and informal narrative of the Hajj pilgrimage, written by Farzaneh-Sadat Fatemi and published by Sooreh Mehr Publications.

The experiences recounted in the book and the author’s unique perspective make it a recommended guide for those wish to travel to the holy cities of Mecca and Medina.

The book launch ceremony for the book was held on Saturday, June 13, 2026, attended by several authors and travel writers , including Kourosh Aliani, Marzieh Etemadi, Faezeh Ghaffar-Haddadi, and Masoumeh Safaei-Rad.
