Families Affected by the US-Israel Strike against Iran Hosted at the Nature Bridge
On the first day of the special program “Guests of the Nature Bridge,” the Abbasabad Cultural and Tourism Area (ACTAT) hosted 60 individuals from families affected by the recent conflict and regional developments.
According to ACTAT's Public Relations Department, the initiative is being implemented as part of the organization’s social responsibility efforts. The program aims to support families currently staying in hotels and temporary accommodation centers across Tehran and is being carried out in cooperation with the Social and Cultural Affairs Department of the Tehran Municipality.
During the program’s opening day, participants visited several of ACTAT’s cultural, scientific, and recreational attractions, including Water and Fire Park, Nature Bridge, Mina Dome Planetarium, and Ocean Park, enjoying a day of leisure and community activities in a welcoming environment.
In addition to touring these attractions, families took part in a variety of educational, cultural, and sports programs. Activities included group competitions, family-oriented games organized in collaboration with the Sport for All Federation, and award ceremonies. These events were designed to strengthen community spirit, support mental well-being, and create positive experiences for participants, particularly children and teenagers.
The “Guests of the Nature Bridge” program was created to promote social well-being, ease the psychological pressures associated with recent events, and provide a safe, enjoyable, and hopeful environment for families. Participants are offered access to recreational, educational, and sports activities while making use of the district’s cultural and tourism facilities.
The initiative will continue on a daily basis, welcoming new groups of families staying in temporary accommodation centers throughout Tehran. According to organizers, approximately 1,500 people have registered for the program so far, and additional groups are expected to participate in the coming days.
By utilizing its extensive cultural and tourism infrastructure, ACTAT aims to fulfill its social mission by providing moments of comfort, hope, and lasting memories for families facing difficult circumstances.
