Conference Overiveiw 

Organized by UN Tourism, the 4th Sport Tourism Conference, held in collaboration with the Secretariat of Tourism of Mexico, the Secretariat of Tourism of Mexico City, the Mexico City Tourism Promotion Fund, and UN Tourism Affiliate Member the Confederation of National Chambers of Commerce, Services and Tourism (CONCANACO SERVYTUR), will take place in Mexico City from 7 to 9 September 2026.

Following the FIFA World Cup 2026, with Mexico as one of the host countries, the Conference will bring together public authorities, destinations, sports organizations, companies, and investors to examine sport tourism as a driver of development, investment, and territorial transformation, with a particular focus on its impact on local communities.
