About the Summit
The 26th Global Summit of the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) will take place in Valletta, Malta, from 7–9 October 2026. The announcement was made during the closing ceremony of the 25th Global Summit in Rome, which brought together thousands of leaders from across the global Travel & Tourism sector.
Organised in collaboration with Malta’s Ministry for Foreign Affairs and Tourism, the Malta Tourism Authority, and the Government of Malta, the event will bring together influential leaders from the public and private sectors to discuss the future of Travel & Tourism, with a focus on innovation, resilience, sustainability, and long-term growth.
Known as the Jewel of the Mediterranean, Valletta is a UNESCO World Heritage City and a cultural crossroads with a history spanning millennia. Selected as the host city for this flagship event, Malta’s capital will provide a remarkable setting for high-level discussions, networking, and knowledge-sharing sessions that will help shape the sector’s global trajectory.
Further details, including the full programme, speakers, and registration information, will be announced in due course.
