A cultural and artistic event titled “The Unfinished Homework” will be held on Tehran’s Nature Bridge as a memorial to more than 400 Iranian children whose lives were cut short by war.
According to the Public Relations Office of the Abasabad Cultural and Tourism Area of Tehran (ACTAT), the cultural and artistic event “The Unfinished Homework” commemorates more than 400 Iranian children whose dreams and childhoods were left unfinished by war.
Sarting on Tuesday night, July 14, Pol-e-Tabi'at (Nature Bridge) will become a passage into the sweet and nostalgic world of innocent children whose final school bell, unfinished games, and hopes for the next day were forever lost amid the war..
“The Unfinished Homework” will feature theatrical performances, music, interactive programs for children, teenagers, and families, as well as a candle-lighting ceremony in memory of children killed during the war waged by the United States and the Israeli regime against Iran. Images of more than 400 child victims will also be displayed throughout the bridge.
The event will be narrated by Hossein Parsaei, with the participation of artists from the visual arts, theater, and music fields, and produced by Mohammad-Sadegh Mirkreimi.
Admission is free and open to the general public. Starting Tuesday, July 14, visitors can come to Tehran’s Nature Bridge every evening from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. to walk across the bridge and pay tribute to the martyrs.
