Recognized as a key cultural landmark among the member countries of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO), Nowruz Park’s most significant section is ECO Park. It is the largest park in the western part of the Abasabad area, designed for both recreational and cultural purposes at regional and international levels. ECO Park was officially inaugurated in April 2013 in a ceremony attended by Tehran’s mayor, as well as foreign affairs ministers and ambassadors from the ECO region.
