One of the oldest parks in Tehran, Taleghani Park is a popular place for family outings and a gathering spot for athletes and sports teams. The park, now 45 years old, was designed by Spanish consulting engineers and gifted to Iran by the Spanish government. Formerly known as Davoudiyeh Hills, it contains approximately 40,514 trees and shrubs and features 75 different tree species.
The wood-carpeted trail in Taleghani Park, known as the “wooden path,” has made access to the Tabi’at Bridge—and subsequently Abo-Atash Park and Nowruz Park—much easier for visitors.
